Depends on the type of headache. Excedrine Migraine (no more than 2 pills in 24hr) and Zyrtec D 12 hour are typically very effective for sinus headaches and light migraines. Do not take on an empty stomach. In all cases, increase water intake, and try to reduce caffeine intake gradually over time to reduce headache frequency. Strong migraines usually need proscribed meds, like Reyvow, or in severe cases they have a one time injection which is pretty effective at near immediate relief in exchange for a sore muscle at the injection site, then diarrhea for a couple days after. They also have once a month immunotherapy injections that function as a migraine preventative. Talk to your doctor.
