I own an Open Astra from 2007. It was extremely cheap, and is probably going strong for a lot of years. Also, it's not the slowest car. It's not the fastest either, but it fits my needs when it comes to acceleration.
It's pretty good overall, great in the snow. I don't actually own it, it's a lease. I probably will turn it in next March 2021 because, while it's real good, I'm a bit bored with it. And I wish it had a smoother, quieter ride.
